“ Our favorite local pupusa spot. Be prepared to wait as they make your pupusas when you order. Came here for dinner on a weekenight and waited about 15-20 mins till our order was ready. Lady was very pleasant and nice. Pupusas was amazing as always. We got pork and cheese, chicken and cheese with beans and rice. They do give plenty of salsa and cabbage that you put on the pupusas. They are very filling and good serving size. We took ours to go but they do have dine in option and they do give you chips and salsa while waiiting for your food. ”
“ Excellent food very authentic. Remind me of my grandmother's cooking. Very good salvadoreño food n Mexican as well ”
“ The food here is really good. We usually grab takeout but have dined in a couple times. Dining in you will wait a bit for your food so be prepared. Favorites are the chicken soup (this is amazing on cold days or if you are sick). I ask for extra broth & veggies light on the chicken. The papusas!! I usually get the bean & cheese but recently had the carne asada papusas and it was beyond delicious. The pork ones are good as well. Love the pickled cabbage and hot sauce. Nice customer service as well. Would definitely recommend calling in your order if your not a fan of waiting a bit for your food. ”
“ Jalapeños has very delicious pupusas that are a good standard size and packed with flavor! It's also important to mention they're fairly priced compared to neighboring pupusa restaurants. We tried their jalapeño & cheese, revuelta (mixed), and bean & cheese. My favorite was the jalapeño & cheese, but they were all so equally tasty. They're served with a nice traditional tomato salsa and curtido (pickled veggies). I'm excited to try food items from the rest of their menu now that I've had a small sample of their extensive menu. I especially love that they serve both Mexican and Salvadoran dishes, love the representation. ”
“ Great food! While they happily serve Mexican try their interesting dishes that are different. We love their Papusas! ”
“ Ordered desayuno Salvadoreno and the food was amazing. Had a side of coffee that was constantly refilled, service was great. It felt homey and quaint. ”
“ This place has been around for a long time. The food is good! Their pupusas have great flavor. The caldo de res is phenomenal. Great for hungover brunch! Or if you're sick.... Lol. The service has always been dry and not super welcoming. But at this point, it's part of their charm. Please know, if it is a hot day, they do not put the AC on. They will have the fans going though. So just dress accordingly and know you're going to eat good food. The ambience is a little hole in the wall type of spot. Relaxed and laid back vibes. ”
